With voters being reminded of the cost of living crisis whenever they go shopping or fill up their car’s tank, the government’s troubles are unlikely to ease any time soon
In years gone past, government TDs used to look forward to the summer break from the Dáil. There was less focus on the progress of various policies and this meant less pressure on them.
