About 80 per cent of people plan to keep their home heating off sometimes this winter even when the weather is cold, according to the latest Red C/Business Post poll.
It is the latest sign of how the 54 per cent increase in energy prices since June last year is putting households under pressure, despite the promise of three electricity credits of €200 each from the government.
