Peter Burke has been appointed to the role of minister for enterprise, as Simon Harris undertakes a mini-reshuffle of his new cabinet.
Patrick O’Donovan has also been appointed as minister for higher education, Harris’ old department.
Burke, who was previously a junior minister for EU affairs, was heavily tipped for promotion as part of the newly appointed taoiseach’s planned refreshing of his Fine Gael ministries.
