No decision on Crumlin and Temple Street repurposing ahead of Children’s Hospital opening
Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin and Temple Street Children’s Hospital may be used for outpatient and elective surgery when NCH opens
The government is considering “repurposing” Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin and Temple Street Children’s Hospital for new health services when all their staff transfer to the new National Children’s Hospital (NCH).
The new hospital on the St James’s Hospital site in Dublin is now 80 per cent complete and is due to be opened in September 2024. Staff from Crumlin and Temple Street are due to transfer across from that date onwards.
