Ministers meet with insurance sector over ‘right to be forgotten’ laws

Michael McGrath has said he “pressed the importance” of cancer survivors being given equal access to financial products during a meeting with the insurance industry last week.

The Minister for Finance and Jennifer Carroll MacNeill, the Minister of State at the Department of Finance, met Insurance Ireland last week to discuss ‘right to be forgotten’ laws, and let the industry know the importance the government was placing on the issue.
