Micheál Martin to visit occupied Palestinian territory on trip to Middle East

The Tánaiste is set to travel to Israel and the occupied Palestinian territory later this week.

Micheál Martin, who is also foreign affairs minister, will also travel to Egypt as part of the visit.

The journey marks the second time he will visit the Middle East in three months, after he travelled to the region in September, before the ongoing conflict began.
