As the 2024 European elections loom, Ireland needs to take stock of the new and continuously changing environment in Brussels and across Europe. When we last went to the polls the Brexit vote had occurred in the UK, but the exact nature of the split and what it might mean for the rest of the EU was still somewhat up in the air.
