Less than half of active travel budgets drawn down by local authorities

Over half of the active travel budget for 2022 may go unspent this year as most local authorities around the country have drawn down less than half of their available funding.

Figures released to the Business post by the National Transport Authority (NTA) show €158 million of an allocated €387 million had been drawn down by local authorities, campuses and hospitals as of November 18.
