Landlords seeking ‘sex for rent’ to face €20,000 fines under new Sinn Féin bill

Landlords will face fines of up to €20,000 if they seek “sex for rent” from tenants, under a Sinn Féin bill.

The issue of some unscrupulous landlords seeking sex from vulnerable tenants in return for agreeing to rent them a property was highlighted in a recent RTÉ Prime Time investigation.
