Labour leader Brendan Howlin has said there is no question of any leadership challenge from Tipperary TD Alan Kelly before the next election.

Howlin was tasked with restoring Labour’s fortunes after it fell from 37 seats to just seven at the last general election. But he was recently given a six-month deadline by former party deputy leader Alan Kelly to produce results.
