Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) is to hold direct talks with racetrack owners to resolve a row about a €235 million media rights deal.

The five-year deal to sell the data and broadcast rights for Irish horse racing has been accepted by 21 racetracks, but rejected by five others.

Sports Information Services and Racecourse Media Group, which has the existing media rights deal, has won the right to keep Irish racing on the pay-per-view Racing TV ...
