The protest last week outside health minister Simon Harris’s family home is the latest of many notable visits by demonstrators to sitting politicians’ home addresses, writes Eithne Dodd

Although the picket at the home of Minister for Health Simon Harris last week received a lot of media attention, it was far from the first time a serving politician has been greeted by disgruntled citizens outside their private residence. An analysis by The Sunday Business Post has found 11 instances of TDs, including Harris, having their homes picketed while they held public office.
