Halligan and McGrath fear a US-backed coup in Venezuela

Two government ministers have expressed concerns that a US-sponsored coup is happening in Venezuela.

While the Irish government has officially expressed support for the US-backed opposition leader Juan Guaidó, Independent Alliance ministers Finian McGrath and John Halligan have both outlined concerns about interference in Venezuela by US president Donald Trump.
