Leo Varadkar’s new remote working policy would make employers liable to ensure people follow workplace health and safety rules in their own homes, employers’ groups have said.

The Tánaiste and Minister for Business announced on Friday that the government will legislate to give employees the right to request to work from home as part of a National Remote Working Strategy.
