A senior Department of Finance official criticised a damning draft report into Nama’s sale of its Northern Ireland loan book, according to newly released documents.

Ann Nolan, the second secretary general in the Department of Finance, raised concerns with the Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG) that it did not interview members of the Nama board, nor its sales advisors Lazard, about the sale of Project Eagle.
