A Fianna Fáil Senator has called on the government to purchase Kerry’s Conor Pass after it was put on the market for €10 million.
The Conor Pass on the Dingle Peninsula is one of the highest mountain passes in Ireland.
The Dingle Peninsula website describes the views from the 12 kilometre road through the pass as “breathtaking” with a glaciated landscape of mountains, corrie lakes and a broad sweeping valley spread out below.
