Fast-tracking of bill through Dáil will see €100 child benefit top-up paid in June

The government will fast-track a bill through the Dáil this week to allow for a €100 once-off child benefit payment to all families as part of the cost of living package. It is in a rush to pass the bill in order make the payment to the families of 1.2 million children next month.
