Eamon Ryan: €14bn climate fund to offer energy supports to businesses

The state’s new multi-billion-euro climate fund will be used to offer sustainable energy supports to businesses, the energy minister has pledged.

Introduced as part of Budget 2024, the government’s Investment, Climate and Nature Fund will receive a fixed amount of €2 billion in windfall corporation taxes each year, with the aim of building it up to €14 billion in size by 2030.
