€15k cost of two publicly owned sites based on ‘independent valuations’
Wholesaler bought two sites in Celbridge from Kildare County Council in 2016 and after the sale J Carey Distributors Ltd’s ‘freehold property’ increased from zero to €1 million
A distribution company has said that it acquired two publicly-owned sites in Kildare for €15,000 based on “independent valuations”.
J Carey Distributors Ltd, a wholesaler which sells and distributes fire logs, firelighters, household goods and catering products, has been based in Celbridge since the 1970s. It had built warehouses to store goods on two sites in the Celbridge industrial estate, which it leased out from Kildare County Council for 99 years each.
