Setting out the priorities for the second half of the government’s term, new Taoiseach Leo Varadkar focused on housing, inflation, clean energy, security, regional development and child poverty.

Some of those focuses were drawn from the pool of crises the Taoiseach said the country was now facing, including climate, the war in Ukraine, housing, and the cost of living.
