Cost of transport infrastructure plan pushes past €100bn

The cost of delivering Ireland’s transport infrastructure in the coming years has increased from €70 billion to at least €100 billion due to inflation, Eamon Ryan has said.

The Minister for Transport and Environment previously brought a memo to cabinet identifying a €14 billion hole in the transport capital budget under the National Development Plan (NDP) out to 2030.
