Scheme will cover half of energy price hikes for 22,000 businesses using oil tanks

Simon Coveney, the Minister for Enterprise, has launched a new scheme to cover half of the increased energy costs for 22,000 businesses that use oil-tanks.

These businesses had previously been excluded from the government’s temporary business energy support scheme (TBEES) - which was focused on businesses using electricity and gas - despite soaring oil prices.
