‘You want to go when the company is in good shape’ - Qantas CEO Alan Joyce on stepping down

Dubliner Alan Joyce has said he wants “to do other things” and that “it felt like the right time” to step down as as CEO of Qantas Airways, Australia's flagship carrier.

The Tallaght native announced his departure from Qantas earlier this week with Vanessa Hudson named as the airline’s next chief executive officer.
