Women of honour seek meeting with Taoiseach, Tánaiste and Attorney General amid tensions with Micheál Martin

Request to finalise terms of reference for an inquiry follows a dispute between group of whistle blowers and the Tánaiste

Women of Honour, a group of whistleblowers addressing issues in the Defence Forces, have sought a meeting with the Attorney General and Micheál Martin, the Minister for Defence, to finalise terms of reference for an inquiry.

The group have said that the request for a meeting was included in a letter to Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, as was a request for the presence of an independent body.
