Web Summit trial moves a step closer as High Court told discovery process settled
If the applications had gone ahead, this would have been the second round of discovery hearings since the cases began in 2021
A planned three-day hearing on preliminary matters in lawsuits brought by the Web Summit co-founders will not proceed after the High Court heard that the majority of issues had been resolved.
A lawyer for Paddy Cosgrave, Web Summit’s former chief executive, told the High Court that all the parties wanted to bring a lengthy discovery process to an end “as swiftly as possible” so that they could move on to trial.
