Katherine Maher has announced her departure as Web Summit chief executive.

Katherine Maher, the chief executive of Web Summit, has announced that she is to step down from the role in March just three months after taking the helm of the firm.

She will depart to lead National Public Radio, the US media organisation, after seeing Web Summit through its inaugural conference in Qatar.
