Vision Capital ‘asks shareholders’ to foot €425k bill for its Ires Reit activist campaign

The company has put forward a number of resolutions ahead of the annual general meeting on 2 May

Vision Capital, the activist investor that ran an impassioned campaign against Ires Reit, is asking shareholders to stump up cash to pay for its costs, according to an Ires stock exchange announcement.

Vision, which owns 5 per cent of Ires shares, has submitted a number of resolutions for consideration ahead of the company’s annual general meeting on 2 May. Included is a request for shareholders to pay up to €425,000 towards its campaign against Ires.
