Von der Leyen to travel to London to meet Sunak after ‘very significant progress’ made on NI Protocol

Ursula von der Leyen, the European Commission president, is to travel to London on Monday for talks with Rishi Sunak, the British prime minister, amid ongoing negotiations on the Northern Ireland protocol.

In a joint statement, von der Leyen and Sunak said they have "agreed to continue their work in person towards shared, practical solutions for the range of complex challenges around the protocol."
