The housing crisis is acting as a “drag” on overseas investment into Ireland but the pipeline of new projects remains strong, Leo Varadkar has said.

The Tánaiste said while the technology sector was in a period of “retrenchment” he did not expect the foreign direct investment (FDI) sector to fall into a significant slowdown next year.
