Certificates for people who can’t be vaccinated against Covid-19 for medical reasons are being held up by legal issues and consideration for how this exemption would operate in Ireland.

Most EU countries, including Ireland, continue to operate Covid-19 digital certificates for travel and indoor settings. A number of European countries in recent months moved to allow provision for people who could not complete their primary course of vaccination on medical grounds.
