Usain Bolt-backed organisation to launch Ireland’s first esports degree

Company’s partnership with BelfastMet has created two-year undergrad programme for those seeking a career in esports and video gaming

Irish esports organisation Wylde, which is co-owned by Usain Bolt, and BelfastMet have signed a multiyear partnership to create the first ever esports degree on the island of Ireland.

The deal between Wylde, and BelfastMet, the largest further and higher education college in Northern Ireland, has created the two-year undergrad degree for those seeking a career in esports and video gaming.
