Unemployment rises slightly to 4.3 per cent, with women more likely than men to be out of work - CSO

Ireland’s unemployment rate edged up 0.1 percentage point in March to 4.3 per cent, according to the latest figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO).

Broken down by gender, male unemployment rose 0.1 percentage point to 4 per cent, while female unemployment remained stable at 4.6 per cent.
