Trust hopes money grows on trees as it targets €7m funding
Not-for-profit Nature Trust is on a mission to plant new open-access woodlands and restore natural habitats at scale across Ireland
The Nature Trust, a not-for-profit joint venture established by tech entrepreneur John Beckett and Coillte, the state-owned commercial forestry business, is seeking to raise €7 million in a new funding round.
The venture, which has raised €10 million over two oversubscribed rounds to date, is on a mission to plant new open-access woodlands and restore natural habitats at scale across Ireland. Deloitte is managing the new fundraise on behalf of the Nature Trust.
