Donald Trump said he could put an end to the conflict in Ukraine in “one day” and urged Republican lawmakers to let the US default on its debts at a town hall in New Hampshire last night.
The event was broadcast on CNN - marking the former president’s first appearance on the channel since 2016. A live - and at times, raucous - audience of Republicans and undeclared voters also watched on.
The event came just one day a federal jury found the former president liable for the sexual assault and defamation of writer E. Jean Carroll.
