Ireland will remain at the forefront of Europe’s efforts to regulate big tech after landmark new proposals to rein in digital companies were agreed, the government has said.
Robert Troy, the Minister of State with responsibility for trade promotion, digital and company regulation, last week gave Ireland’s support at the Competitiveness Council in Brussels to the Digital Markets Act (DMA) and Digital Services Act (DSA).
