The average cost of building a new three-bed home in Ireland has increased to just under €400,000 this year, a new report has found.

The ‘2023 real cost of new housing delivery’ report published by the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) shows that ongoing inflation in construction materials, wages and energy has driven the cost of housing construction to record highs.
