The government has nominated three barristers and seven solicitors to be appointed as District Court judges

The government has nominated three barristers and seven solicitors to be appointed as District Court judges.

A decision to nominate Mr Justice Brian O’Moore, a High Court judge, to the Court of Appeal was also made by the government today.

Mr Justice O’Moore, who currently oversees the High Court’s chancery list, will fill a vacancy created by the appointment of Ms Justice Aileen Donnelly to the Supreme Court.
