Tech firms demand time to assess ‘raft’ of new laws affecting business

Tech firms operating in Ireland are demanding time to assess the impact of a “raft” of new EU and Irish laws impacting on their businesses, a leading industry figure has said.

According to Una Fitzpatrick, director of Technology Ireland, companies need greater guidance to deal with a slew of new pieces of legislation at a European level covering the tech sector.
