Tánaiste Micheál Martin has backed the author of an independent review into Dr Tony Holohan’s proposed appointment to a role at Trinity College Dublin.
Maura Quinn, the former head of the Institute of Directors, found that the planned appointment, which was later abandoned, did not meet “accepted norms of scrutiny, transparency and accountability.”
