Former Nama official Enda Farrell has been given a wholly suspended two-year sentence for leaking potentially commercially sensitive information.

Judge Karen O'Connor said the father of three had suffered a loss of reputation and experienced a “very public fall from grace”.

Last month, the 40-year-old pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to eight charges of intentionally disclosing confidential information between May and June of 2012.
