Stryker Ireland, the Irish arm of the multinational medical device manufacturer, paid a dividend of €400 million to its European parent company in March, new company accounts show.

The company said its sales fell due to Covid-19, as the number of elective surgeries in hospitals was reduced.

The company said it expects its sales to increase in 2021 as hospitals work through that backlog of elective surgeries.
