A “strong” and “visible” garda presence will be maintained on the streets of Dublin throughout the Christmas period, Helen McEntee, the Minister for Justice, has said.
Speaking on her way into Cabinet on Tuesday, McEntee said she will update her ministerial colleagues on Gardai’s efforts “to restore and maintain order” since the riots in Dublin last Thursday.
