Stripe granted €10m in IDA funding for engineer hires at new Dublin hub

Company has been in the midst of a substantial round of lay-offs in recent months as part of a wider wave of job cuts at major tech firms worldwide

Stripe is entitled to claim €10.1 million in grant funding from the IDA for the hiring of engineers at its Dublin Engineering Hub, new European Commission data shows.

The funding, which was first publicly disclosed in March of this year in the European Commission’s state aid database, is related to a jobs announcement Stripe made in September 2021 in relation to the new hub.
