Statkraft’s Laois wind farm becomes fifth project hit with judicial review this year

Energy giant confirms proceedings have been launched against wind farm which will have the capacity to power almost 40,000 homes

Statkraft, the Norwegian energy giant, has warned the “systemic problems” in the Irish planning system will prevent the country from meeting its climate targets after one of its large-scale wind farms was hit with a judicial review legal challenge.
