Still no online shopping at Penneys despite new Irish website

The company’s page will allow customers to check stock in local outlets. The retailer has traditionally shunned online sales

Retail giant Penneys has launched a new website in Ireland, allowing customers to check the availability of its products.

The page, which is an Irish section on its main Primark site, will let shoppers create a wishlist to save favourite items, and check stock in their local store.

However, the firm has once again stopped short of allowing customers to buy its products online.
