Stephen Donnelly, the Minister for Health, has appointed a specialist in “contentious” construction disputes to the board for the National Children's Hospital project.

It comes at a time when the National Paediatric Hospital Development Board (NPHDB) is in dispute with Bam, the main contractor, about hundreds of cost claims for the project.
