State pumps €60m into London fund to support Irish businesses

The state’s sovereign wealth arm has invested €60 million into a new investment fund launched by Exponent, the London-based private equity group.

The Ireland’s Strategic Investment Fund (Isif) said it has invested in Exponent’s new fund has it supports its goal to help grow and scale indigenous Irish businesses.

The British private equity firm has been investing in Ireland for many years and has deployed over €1 billion in 12 Irish businesses.
