The state should commit a large amount of its social housing delivery budget to buying factory-made homes, a new report has said.

The recommendation was included in a review of the barriers that have prevented the rollout of modern methods of construction (MMC) in Ireland. The term is used to describe construction that takes place in a factory setting rather than on-site.
