State fund invests €94m in British renewables firm Octopus

Fast-growing company will establish Dublin office and money will be used to help fund green energy projects across Europe, including in Ireland

The Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (Isif) has invested €94 million in Octopus Energy, a fast-growing British company with renewable assets all over the world.

The company has almost €7 billion of assets under management, which mostly comprise investments in energy transition infrastructure such as solar, and onshore and offshore wind.
