Spanish firm in talks to sell off stake in M6 motorway

Madrid-based Sacyr is reportedly in talks with investment firm Bestinver to sell its 45 per cent stake in the road

The Department of Transport has declined to comment on the potential sale of Spanish firm Sacyr’s stake in the M6, which is made up of the final section of the motorway linking Dublin and Galway.

The Madrid-based company is reportedly in talks with investment firm Bestinver to sell its 45 per cent stake in the stretch of road, which links Ballinasloe and Galway City.
